reimbursement policies and audit expertise. We work with hospital
and independent laboratory programs to ensure billing compliance.
In addition to consulting services for providers, HSC assists manufacturers
with the complex American Medical Association CPT (Current Procedural
Terminology) coding application process that is required for a new
analyte. We also prepare manufacturers’ petitions to the Centers
for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for pricing and coverage
of the new analyte code.
